Let’s do this!
My gosh, what a ride! After 8 years of cruising in the corporate life, I said “let’s do this!”. So I spent all my savings and started my own mobile coffee bar in Breda! A dream definitely came true. Being self employed is so liberating! Though, I’m still the rookie and very much in the process of figuring out how to navigate the entrepreneurial world.
Coffee. Some magical substance bringing people joy, uniting them in a cozy moment. Everywhere I’ve travelled to, there was always the constant of a soothing coffee in the morning, the afternoon or even after dinner. This atmosphere you find in coffee bars, is something I was drawn to since I started to drink coffee. Wanting to bring this to people myself.

The love of vintage, retro vibes brought me to my lovely Peugeot J7 from 1977. Being a “DIY-person” (if that is even a word or a thing..), I wanted to build the bar myself. That’s how I started designing and prepping to convert the Peugeot into that coffee truck, exactly how I had imagined it. Dreams do come true you know! So proud of how it turned out! Got my hubby to thank for the time, space and help with the financials to make this happen though.
I found this great weekly Saturday market in Breda for a starter, come and visit me there. I’ll brew a double espresso with love and try to put a tulip on your flat white while having a chat on how your day is going!
See you on the market then!
